Musicians' Comments

I love to sing every line of “When Sunny Gets Blue.” A more perfect marriage of lyrics and music is hard to come by. The melody is incredibly sensual, and Fisher’s haunting musical phrases are perfectly mirrored by Segal’s wistful lyrics. It’s a very rich collaboration, and I always find myself carried to another place (the mark--to me--of a great song) when I sing it.
