Musician's Comments

I remember telling Roland Hanna when we were working on this song that it had been done so well by so many people that there didn’t seem much point in recording it again. But this recording from the 1986 Tono You’re Nearer album was such a happy combination of musicians all performing at their best that I think we produced an original take of the song. Bob Brookmeyer played a particularly good solo. It was Roland’s favorite side from the date.
