Musician's Comments
This was one of the first four songs I ever recorded. It was on a demo I did with Bob Dorough way before I recorded professionally. I showed up at the studio, and Bob asked me for the sheet music. I was astonished to learn that these tunes, all of which I had learned by ear from recordings, actually were written out. I had brought the recordings with me, in case he didn't know the tunes. But luckily he did know them.
